Teo Chee Hean is the current Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore as well as Coordinating Minister for National Security. Teo is a leading leader of PAP (People Action Party) and is also working as Minister-in-Charge of Civil Services in Singapore. Teo Chee Hean also founded National Research Foundation and is serving as the chairman of the community. Along with this, he is a Rear Admiral in Singapore Armed Forces.
Teo Chee Hean was born on 27 December 1954 in Singapore and married to Chew Poh Yim. Before entering politics, Teo worked as a naval officer in Singapore Armed Forces. In 1992, Teo joined as the member of Parliament and after that actual journey of Teo Chee Hean in Politics begins. Since today he worked in Ministry of Communications, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Defence, Ministry for Environment, Minister for Education, Minister for Home Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister and Co-ordinating Minister for National Security. Teo did his schooling from Saint Michael’s School and Saint Joseph’s Institution. In 1976, Teo completed his graduation in Bachelors of Science (Electrical Engineering and Management Science).
