    Permit me to refer a complaint relative to the services rendered by Rolex Centre Phil., Limited, Rolex Service Center.

    Sometime last week of January 2017, I visited Rolex Centre Phil., Limited service center to have my Rolex wrist watch assessed. I was told it needed servicing and replacement of certain parts, namely: the crown and the second hand, and the estimated service fee would be in the range of Php25,000.00. But there was a caveat that they would not surrender to me the replaced parts. I expressed reservations relative to said caveat because I would have no means of determining whether the parts they identified as needing replacement would actually be replaced by brand new parts. Then I requested, by way of compromise, that I should at least be shown the parts which were replaced. The lady employee assured me that they would show me the parts replaced.

    But when I went to redeem my watch last February 7, 2017 and paid the full price of Twenty Five Thousand Fifty Nine Pesos (Php25,059.00) (Photocopy of the Receipt No. C1217000462 is enclosed), they failed to show me that parts replaced. I complained that when I agreed to have my watch repaired, it was upon the express condition that the replaced parts would at least be shown to me. This time the lady who attended to me told me that the employee concerned could not have made said commitment (to exhibit the replaced parts) because the request to be shown the replaced parts will only be entertained at the point of pick up/payment. She then told me that she could show me the parts replaced but it would take some thirty (30) or so minutes to accommodate my request. But I had a lunch commitment then and had to leave. I just felt that the employees of your Rolex Centre Phil., Limited service center were most unprofessional.

  2. Recently brought a Rolex Master GMT ll . I notice the date change movement is not consistent. It’s date jump on 12:05am to 12:10am. For example today the date jump after midnight is 12:06am , the other day12:07 am and some days can be at 12:10 am. Is it normal? Shouldn’t Rolex accuracy for date jump be less than 5 min after mid night. ? Called service centre, they don’t even hv a fixed answer.
