  2. On 29 Dec16, at about 0945H, me and my wife booked an Airasia Asia flight to AK750 to Penang. When we about to do E-ticketing, i managed to get a boarding ticket but my wife did not because of some details not correct. So we proceed to queue at the Airasia counter.
An indian lady, rougly in late twenties serve us and we told her about our problem and request to put us seated together. Her first answer was
    1. The seats are computer allocated, cannot choose unless we purchase priority seat. This is absurd on why we cannot choose to sit together but can change if we buy priority seat.
    2. I enven suggested to her to cancel my seat and reallocate us to sit together as there is a long queue behind. There maybe people still have not booked their seat yet.
    3. She answered that the FLIGHT IS FULL. Not posible to fulfill our request. We persuaded her again but was turned down by her.

When i boarded the plane, there were empty seats available, especially the seat beside me was EMPTY. Can you imagine if you were in my position, how frustrating and cheated you would be !!!

I hope you look into this matter and find out who the lady was. These are the bad apples that will tarnish your company.

    From Frustrating Customer
    Mr John

  7. Air Asia has one extremely terrible customer care services….For a person booking flights from Singapore has no way to contact any call center…as all the call centers are located in different countries and they seem to have not a single number to contact in Singapore….even if we try to call the call service number of Malaysia, the nearest neighboring country, since the number is a toll free one it does not work…..

Most horrible service ever I have encountered among air line industry

  8. I would like to check my status of refund. It has been refund in progress for months. Please give me a call(+65 8798 8362). Thanks.

  9. Air Asia – ground staff in Trichirappalli – I have decided not to fly Air Asia anymore. You will know why I decided so after reading the below.
I took a flight from Singapore to Trichirappali via KL. I boarded the plan with 20kgs each of checked in baggage for me and my wife. I also had a 7kg hand baggage for each and I had a laptop bag weighed almost 3 kg and my wife had a small handbag. We were allowed to board the plane both in Singapore and in KL.
On our return journey we did not have any checked in baggage, instead, we had 7kgs of hand baggage plus the laptop bag and my wife’s handbag. The staff who was checking our tickets and preparing the boarding pass said that we are allowed only 7Kg for both hand baggage and laptop bag. They also weighed my wife’s handbag. Finally, I had to throw away the snacks etc which was in excess according to the ground staff. I pleaded as much as I could and he kept repeating that this is a new regulation. I told him if it is a new regulation, I take note of it and as I had already travelled one leg with that weight, hence I need to bring back, he refused to hear my plead. Reluctantly I had to throw away the items. I was even more shocked when I could see many bringing in hand baggage which they could not even carry (so heavy). So I am not sure if the rule is consistent or it changes every hour, or it changes to individuals. Thanks to Air Asia for a wonderful customer service. GOODBYE TO AIR ASIA. I HAVE DECIDED NOT TO FLY AIR ASIA UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

  11. Is this number for real +65-6307-7688 ? I’ve been calling for days, and it’s always engaged. I’ve tried life chat and it doesn’t work. I’ve tried calling the number in Malaysia, and it doesn’t work as well.
My problem is….I’ve pre-ordered and paid for my breakfast meal, and received notification that the meal I’ve chosen was discontinued. Air Asia automatically switch to another choice. When I went into website to make my own selection, I’m asked to make payment. But I have not received any refund, and I seriously don’t need so many meals on board. please contact me
